I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where I graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School and studied dance at the Peabody Preparatory of Johns Hopkins University. I received a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Film/Video from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

In 2001, I founded and directed Rita Project, a national non-profit arts organization whose mission was to stop suicide and celebrate life. We served NYC, Los Angeles and Baltimore with permanent and site-specific open art studios. Through 2014, we partnered with American Visionary Art Museum, Greenwich House Pottery, galleries, high schools and universities. We also worked with the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland.

In 2018, I completed the Chef Training Program at Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in NYC which has since merged with the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE).

I have cooked for celebrities, Grammy award wining musicians, Hollywood film executives and NFL players. I have styled food for HBO and Netflix and written recipes for BuzzFeed Tasty.

I live in Nashville, Tennessee and look forward to working with you.
